The Dodgers are close to signing right-handed reliever Matt Guerrier to a three-year, $12 million deal, multiple reports said on Wednesday.
The Dodgers have not confirmed the reports.
Guerrier, 32, made his Major League debut in 2004 with the Twins and has been with them ever since. He went 5-7 with a 3.17 ERA in 74 appearances last season.
The Dodgers' bullpen had issues throughout the 2010 campaign, beginning with George Sherrill's struggles and continuing through Jonathan Broxton losing the closer job in the second half of the season.
According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports, free agent Bill Hall remains on Los Angeles' radar as a left-field candidate.
